Product Manager – Photovoltaic Solutions (Focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems)

About the Role:
We are looking for a technically oriented Product Manager with a strong background in electrical engineering or other technical fields, who is eager to specialize in modern energy technologies, especially Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You don’t need direct experience with BESS — what matters most is your technical thinking, willingness to learn, and ability to drive product development in a fast-evolving industry.

This is a key role for someone who wants to combine technical expertise with business insight and contribute to shaping the future of renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Portfolio Management

• Manage and develop the product portfolio of photovoltaic solutions with a focus on technically advanced systems such as BESS.
• Monitor new technologies, assess their technical feasibility and commercial potential.
• Cooperate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure correct specifications and high product quality.
• Coordinate with purchasing to maintain product availability based on forecasts and market demand.

Technical Support & Expertise

• Become a go-to technical expert for BESS and related products — we’ll support your onboarding if this is a new area for you.
• Deliver technical training for internal teams and customers.
• Cooperate with the technical support team on project designs and specific technical solutions.
• Assist sales teams in customer communication where technical knowledge is required.

Internal Collaboration

• Participate in cross-functional meetings with sales, technical support, and marketing to align on strategy and product direction.
• Actively share knowledge and contribute to the overall technical competence of the team.

Marketing & E-commerce Support

• Contribute to the creation of product documentation, technical datasheets, and marketing materials.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in online channels.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical education (ideally in electrical engineering, automation, energy systems, or a related field).
• Previous experience in product management or technical roles — not necessarily in photovoltaics or BESS.
• Strong technical mindset and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Business thinking and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (daily use in communication with international partners).
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (trainings, fairs, customer visits).
