Job Summary

• Confitex Innovation Technology is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Production Manager to join our manufacturing facility in Litovel, Czechia.
• This role is primarily on-site and will occasionally require travel to trade shows and meetings with suppliers of materials, fabrics, and manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the production facility, ensuring high efficiency and quality standards.
• Lead implementation and maintenance of Operational and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Lead and implement waste reduction initiatives and waste efficiencies
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and internal policies.
• Manage all production deadlines to a strict timelines without delays
• Manage testing and commissioning of new manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Introduce new products into the manufacturing process, ensuring seamless integration.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing production lines.
• Coordinate inter-plant manufacturing transfers and technology handovers.
• Lead and support regulatory audits (FDA, TUV, etc.).
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools to identify and reduce waste.
• Implement and optimise resource and people management systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production areas.
• Utilise value stream mapping to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to address production issues.
• Support ERP system roll-out and other digital transformation initiatives.
• Monitor production KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, downtime) and drive corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal company policies.
• Implement Lean manufacturing practices and support continuous improvement efforts across the plant.
• Lead and motivate production supervisors and teams, fostering a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and performance.
• Manage daily production activities to meet output targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience (8+ years) in senior production or operations management roles
• Solid knowledge in Medical Devices manufacturing and MDE compliance
• Strong knowledge of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental compliance systems.
• Experience with setup and launch of new manufacturing sites.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems and their implementation in manufacturing settings.
• Track record of leading and developing cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Must be fluent in English and Czech

Salary and Benefits

The role offers a competitive annual gross salary in the range of CZK 70 000 – CZK 110 000 per month depending on experience. Benefits include:
