What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a professional who combines technical expertise with a consultative sales approach:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or field support within the paper industry – this is essential.
• A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
• Familiarity with paper/board machine operations, wet end chemistry, or pulp mill operations.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in Czech or Slovak and English.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight as needed.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You Will Do:

As a District Representative, you’ll be the face of Nalco Water for key accounts in Czechia and Slovakia:

• Drive growth by managing and expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and convert strategic competitive accounts using a value-added, consultative sales approach.
• Promote and implement innovative solutions in specialty chemicals and water treatment for the pulp and paper industry.
• Work closely with large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans for the pulp and paper industry that will maintain and grow sales.
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Central and Eastern Europe.

Territory/Location Information:

• This position is based in Czechia or Slovakia, exact location to be discussed
• Overnight travel will be required to meet customer/prospect requirements.
• Targeted accounts are within the Pulp & Paper industries.
• You will also cooperate closely with colleagues in the CEE team and support functions.
